The Collection of Militaria to Welsh Regiments formed by the Late Llewellyn Lord

The South Wales Borderers 4th Volunteer Battalion Officer’s Green Cloth Helmet c. 1883 - 1902, the green cloth skull complete with all plated fittings, the chin chain of ribbed rifles pattern, the QVC star patterned helmet plate with dragon and laurel centre and double unit title below, internally complete with original sweat band and lining and retailer’s label ‘Hobson & Sons, London’, evidence that this is possibly the second helmet plate to have been used, the base of the spike finial with small moulding crack otherwise very good condition overall
