Byzantine Coinage, Basil I, Miliaresion, Constantinople, 868-79, cross potent on three steps, globus below, triple border, rev. legend in six lines, 2.60g (Sear 1708); another similar, but single border, 2.62g (cf. Sear 1708) [2]. First very fine but with some verdigris and a flan crack repaired, second good fine, overstruck on an Arabic Dirhem £150-200
