Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, Transvaal (Lt. E. M. H. Raynsford. Glouc. Rgt.) nearly extremely fine £140-180

Edward Montague Hill Raynsford was appointed 2nd Lieutenant in the Gloucestershire Regiment on 18 April 1900. He served in South Africa in 1900 with the 1st Battalion, and took part in the operations of the Drakensberg Defence Force including the seizure of Van Reenen’s Pass. He resigned his commission in 1901.
