Charles I (1625-1649), Halfcrown, Type 4, mm. lion, types similar with ebor below horse, pellet stops both sides (N 2312; S 2866; JGB 1080; Besly pl. 8,7). Good very fine, a good example of this base late Eighteenth Century forgery (Besly p 232) (£150-200)
