Henry VI, Annulet issue, Halfgroats (5), London (2), m.m. cross II on obv. only, early type with 11-arc tressure, legend ends M, and m.m. cross V on obv. only, late type with 9-arc tressure; Calais (3), m.m. cross II on obv. only (2, varieties with 11- and 9-arc tressure), and m.m. cross V, all with annulets on reverses (N. 1428-9; S. 1839-40). Fine and better, generally toned (5) (£60-90)

1st ex SNC May 1974 (4427), described as a Henry V/VI mule, an attribution with which the cataloguer does not agree [true Henry V obverses have m.m. cross I and a horizontal line across the breast, see BNJ 1938 pl.iii, 5, and BNJ 1960, pl.x, 10]; 2nd ex SCMB Apr. 1972 (H2743)
