Mary (1542-1567), First Period, Bawbees (2), both Edinburgh, plain saltire cross, 2.30 gms, voided saltire cross, 1.87 gms; Half-Bawbee, Edinburgh, voided saltire cross, 0.70 gms; Lions (2), first type, date uncertain, without annulets, 0.90 gms, countermarked star in heart; second type, 1558, 0.81 gms; Second Period (with Francis), billon Groat, 1559, dolphin left, 1.64 gms; Lions (2), both 1559, with dolphins to right, 1.27 gms, 0.81 gms; together with contemporary forgeries of Lions (2), both [15]58, with dolphins to left, 0.82 gms, 0.55 gms (S. 5432-3, 5436, 5439, 5445, 5448-50). First fine, others mostly fair, Half-Bawbee chipped (10)
