Royal Marines, an extremely fine and rare officer’s copper gilt gorget c1801-1813, engraved are the Royal Arms of Great Britain for the period above a shield bearing a fouled anchor, below this two laurel sprays, original Royal blue silk rosettes and ribbons, no chamois liner the rosettes and ribbons with some wear and fraying, the gilt in near mint state £700-1000
