Royal Marines, an extremely fine and very rare officer’s 1829 pattern shako plate, the crowned copper gilt back plate with gilt scroll overlays ‘GIBRALTAR’ and ‘PER MARE PER TERRAM’ and centrally in silver the fouled anchor (KK1085), the top jewel missing from the orb and cross otherwise near mint condition £1000-1500
