A campaign group of three awarded to Staff Sergeant E. D. P. Baker, Royal Horse Artillery, The Parachute Regiment and Special Air Service Regiment

U.N. Korea; General Service 1918-62, E.II.R., 2 clasps, Malaya, Arabian Peninsula (22279482 Cpl. E. D. Baker, S.A.S.) the second clasp loose on ribbon; General Service 1962, 1 clasp, Northern Ireland (22279482 Sgt. E. D. P. Baker, RA) together with RHA cap badge, 8th Inf Div Airborne wings in silver, and French parachute wings, good very fine (3)

Staff Sergeant Baker did two years boy service 1949-51, before joining 49th Anti Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery, with whom he did tours of duty in Korea, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong. In 1954 he joined 22 SAS and served with them in Singapore and Malaya, and again in Oman, returning to the UK in 1962 for a course with the Army Air Corps at Middle Wallop. He served with 566 AAC in Germany 1962-65, and in 1966 went to Aldershot with 7 Para R.H.A. with whom he served 5 tours in Northern Ireland, 3 in Malaya, and others in Iceland, France and Denmark. Baker was finally demobilised on 8 September 1973. The group is sold with copy certificates for successful completion of parachute courses with 8th Inf Div Airborne School, The Army Parachute Centre, French Army and the German Luftlande-Lufttransportschule.
