Harold Wilfred Morrison enlisted into the General Service Corps, Regular Army, on 26 March 1946, transferring to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers on 16 May of the same year. He served oversea in the Caribbean, Nov 1949 - April 1951; Far East Land Force, Aug 1951 - March 1953, Aug 1953 - Dec 1957 and Aug 1958 - April 1959; Malaya, Jan - April1962; Cyprus Feb - Oct 1964; and in Berlin Oct 1965 - Oct 1967. He transferred to the Royal Irish Rangers on 1 July 1968 and was discharged on 19 December following, having completed his term of engagement.
