217157 Captain George Wilson Mohun qualified as an Air Observation Post Pilot flying Austers from course No. 23. He was attached to 662 Squadron which flew to France on 8 June 1944. He was killed when his Auster MT164 hit cables whilst on a reconnaissance flight near Grandchain on 26 August 1944, and is buried in the St Desir War Cemetery, France.
