76582 Pilot Officer Peter Bouch Hissey was posted to No. 114 Squadron in July 1940. He took part in 6 operational sorties including 13 August 1940, bombing mission to attack the seaplane base at Brest, and 9 September 1940, night attack on enemy gun positions at Cape Gris Nez. Hissey’s Blenheim failed to return from a bombing mission over Le Havre and he was posted missing, believed killed, on 29 October 1940.
