5772199 Private George Henry Musk was killed in action on 17 February 1942, during the battle for Singapore Island. The 4th Norfolks formed part of the 54th Infantry Brigade which was captured by the Japanese in Singapore when the island surrendered in February 1942. He is commemorated by name on the Singapore Memorial.
