4626337 Trooper Harold Edwards was killed in action on 11 April 1943 after the battle of Fondouk Gap when his regiment were at Sidi Ali Bousalem. Having just replenished with fuel and ammunition, they were dive bombed by three FW190’s with 500 kg bombs. Trooper Edwards and seven other men were killed in this action.
