FAA/FX 75080 Air Artificer William Adam Norman died on 16 February 1942, and has no other grave but the sea. He is commemorated by name on the Lee-on-Solent Fleet Air Arm Memorial, Hampshire. Norman was serving in H.M.S. Sultan, the depot ship at Singapore, and died the day after Singapore surrendered to the Japanese on 15 February 1942.
