Arnold Alston, 2/6th Battalion, was killed in action, France & Flanders, 10 November 1917, and is commemorated by name on the Tyne Cot Memorial.

William Bennett was killed in action on 21 March 1918, the first day of the spring Offensive, serving with the 2/6th Battalion. He is buried in Templeux-le-Guerard Communal Cemetery Extension, north east of Peronne.

Thomas Bennett (brother of William, above) was serving in Burma when he was drowned on 26 November 1931, at Meiktila, Burma. The lot is sold with his original Pay Book Attestation papers and Death Certificate.
