Watkin W. Jones was born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. He enlisted into the Regular Army at Columbus Barracks, Ohio on 18 September 1916, aged 18 years, 6 months. Attained the rank of Sergeant in May 1919. Honourably discharged on 4 June 1920. With copied service details.
