5th (Northumberland) Fusiliers Officer’s Shako Badge 1861 - 1866. A superb fire gilt example being a fused grenade (7 x 3.4 cm), the ball of the grenade mounted with a circular motto strap ‘Quo Fata Vocant’, in the centre facing the viewer’s right St. George slaying the dragon with a small ‘V’ below, the bottom lug removed and a brooch pin now fitted, excellent condition £300-400
