James Frederick Culham was born and lived in Claygate, Surrey and enlisted at Clapham Junction. As a Lance-Corporal in the 23rd (County of London) Battalion London Regiment he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 18 August 1915. He was killed in action on 16 September 1916. Having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
