Arthur Tickner was born and lived in Dorking, Surrey and enlisted at Guildford. Serving with the 1st Battalion The Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 12 August 1914. He was killed in action on 30 October 1914. Entitled to the 1914 Star and clasp. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
