Patrick Joseph Corr was born in Pittsburgh on 27 January 1927. Attending the University of Pittsburgh he studied law and gained a LL.B. and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1926. He was the Head Swimming Coach at the University of Pittsburgh, 1923-39, and was sometime Assistant City Solicitor. Awarded the Inquirer Hero Award for distinguished service by the City of Philadelphia. This could be awarded for a variety of things and cannot be verified as a life saving award. Sold with some biographical details.
