Baxter, together with 60 Guineas by Voluntary Subscription for having saved 27 Persons from Drowning, Hull, Dec. 23rd 1899’; additionally inscribed on edge, ‘For a Gallant & Noble Act of Humanity in Saving the Lives of 27 Persons from Drowning’, 28mm., silver, hallmarks for Birmingham 1920, ring suspension with watch fob attachment; together with a Silver Pocket Watch, uninscribed, lacking arms, state of workings unknown, medal nearly extremely fine (2) £80-100
