Three: Lance-Corporal B. D. Hunter, 20th Battalion London Regiment

Benjamin David Hunter enlisted into the 20th Battalion London Regiment on 10 June 1913. With them he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 23 May 1915 and served there until 8 July 1916. returned to the U.K., Hunter was discharged as ‘being no longer physically fit for war’, suffering from ‘trench foot’ on 25 September 1916. He was awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with two postcards and copied m.i.c., S.W.B. roll extract and service papers.
