Birmingham, William Hallan, Skidmore’s mule Halfpence (2), from the same obv. die as previous, rev. bust of George III, skidmore edge, 12.45g/6h (DH 136); legend in 8 lines, rev. bust of David Garrick, edge grained, 9.60g/6h (DH 139) [2]. Extremely fine, first with much original colour, second with striking crack and reverse slightly off-centre, both rare (£150-200)
