DH 22a only illustrated. Frederick George Fisher, postmaster, Brighton and proprietor of two circulating libraries at Brighton and Eastbourne, the former established in 1784 and the latter in 1790, declared bankrupt December 1803; his stock of books were sold by auction in Brighton in 1805 (Brooke,
CTCJ September 1998, pp.22-3). John H. Boorman, grocer and draper, freemason. James Tebay, ironmonger and auctioneer, wife’s name Jane; a memorial stone to his son James (†May 1791) is in St Clement’s church, Hastings. Tebay’s tokens are catalogued following the original DH plate enumeration
