Naval Thanksgiving at St Paul’s, 1797, medals (3), viz. by J. Milton, in gilt-copper, bust right, rev. regalia on plinth, three fleurs-de-lis above legend, 32mm, 15.90g/12h (DH 192; Stainton 17A; BHM 439); unsigned (2), both in copper, bust right, revs. City arms above in honor of lord duncans victory, etc, 33mm, 12.25g/12h (DH 195; BHM 441), providence this day acknowledged, etc, 33mm, 17.14g/6h (DH 197; BHM 442) [3]. First about extremely fine but with test marks on edge, others extremely fine, second with much original colour but a small metal fault in reverse field (£80-100)

DH 195 only illustrated. The national thanksgiving service at St Paul’s for the three great naval victories off Brest on 1 June 1794, at the battles of Cape St Vincent in February 1797 and Camperdown in October 1797, was staged on the morning of 19 December 1797
