Miscellaneous, Typeface Trials (2), both 1971, in gilt-plated steel, viz. letters of the alphabet continuous in two circles, with date, around central cross, rev. test repeated around figure 2 within inner circle, edge plain, 22mm, 1.44g/12h; similar, rev. cruciform group of nine raised dots, edge plain, 22mm, 1.36g [2]. Virtually as struck, extremely rare; believed the only examples extant outside the Royal Mint (£60-80)
