Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Secondary series J, Sceatta, type 72, two heads vis-à-vis, cross between, rev. bird right, looking back at serpent, 1.01g/9h (M 303; N 141; S 792A). Obverse a little pitted, very fine, reverse better but a trifle off-centre, rare (£120-150)
