Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Continental series E, Sceatta, variety D, porcupine-like figure to right, cross in front and annulet below, rev. debased standard comprising an annulet with four pellets around, all within blundered legend, 1.24g (M. 209-10; N 49; S 786A). Reverse off-centre, otherwise almost extremely fine (£80-100)
