Staffordshire, Tamworth, Francis Blick, Trial Halfpenny, 1799, in white metal from unfinished dies, church and castle, former with tall steeples, rev. fb cypher, edge plain, 11.20g/12h (DH 22). Rather surface-marked in fields, otherwise very fine to extremely fine and of the highest rarity; believed only 3 specimens known £1,000-1,500

The only other example noted by the cataloguer in commerce is the Norman/Hamer/Waite-Sanderson specimen, which is perhaps that illustrated in DH and inferior to the present specimen
