Lauffer, 1799-1803, Eighteen Stuivers ‘Guillotine’ (valued at Three Reaals, c. 1800), a cut quarter segment of a Spanish-American 8 Réales, with crenated edges, rev. countermarked with five-petal rosace raised within a circular indent, 6.67g/102.9gr (Scholten 1368a; Prid. p.251, fig. 25 [Sale, lot 421]; KM. 7).
