Martinique, Leeward Islands-Martinique, 7 dwt Standard on the Leeward Islands, c. 1798, Sixty-Six Shillings, BRAZIL, Joseph I, counterfeit 6,400 Réis, 1776, Bahia, obv. countermarked ih raised within a rectangular indent over a small central plug; the coin moved to Martinique, valued at Twenty Livres per gros and obv. countermarked 20 above eagle raised within a shaped indent (authorised September 1805), 10.95g/169.1gr/7.04 dwt (Gordon 301, this coin). ih countermark fine, coin and 20/eagle countermark about very fine, extremely rare £3,000-3,500
