Carroll, named (C. Winyard & G.S. Jackson for their paper "Northern Star Evolution and Operation"), hallmarked Birmingham 1964, 44mm; Forsyth Medal, a plated bronze medal by P. Metcalfe, named (A.E. Martin, N.R.C. Scotland 1931); Fox Medal, Institute of British Foundrymen, a silver award by Fattorini, named (T. Makemson, M.B.E.), hallmarked Birmingham 1946, 56mm [5].
