2nd Lieutenant Albert Leslie Palmer, 5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters, was wounded in action at Fonquuevillers Brewery on 4 March 1917, and died of his wounds on 6 March, aged 19 years. He was buried in the Warlingcourt Halte British Cemetery, Saulty. Lieutenant Palmer was the son of Henry Hartopp Palmer and Elizabeth Palmer, of 106 Hallam Fields, Ilkeston. With copied research.
