Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., G.VI.R., 1st issue (M. 35183 F. T. Ryan, E.A. 1, H.M.S. Imogen) nearly extremely fine £60-80

The destroyer H.M.S. Imogen was involved in several successful anti-U-boat operations prior to her demise off Duncansby Head on 16 July 1940, when in thick fog she was in collision with the cruiser Glasgow. Badly damaged and set on fire, she had to be abandoned, and eventually went down with the loss of 19 ratings.
