The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, K.C.B. (Military) Knight Commander’s set of insignia, comprising neck badge in 22 carat gold and enamels, hallmarked London 1814, maker’s mark ‘IE’ for John Edwards, complete with wide neck cravat but no fastening clasps; and breast star by Hamlet, silver with gold and enamel appliqué centre, circa 1815, 78mm diameter, the reverse centre inscribed with maker’s name ‘HAMLET, JEWELLER to their Royal Highnefses THE PRINCESES Augusta Elizabeth Mary & Sophia, Princes Street Leicester Square LONDON’, fitted with gold pin for wearing, some minor enamel damage to wreaths and scrolls on both pieces, otherwise nearly extremely fine and a fine set £4000-5000

The four Princesses were all daughters of King George III.
