Army of India 1799-1826, 1 clasp, Bhurtpoor (Asst. Surgn. A. B. Webster, M.D., Field Hospital), short hyphen reverse, officially impressed naming, good very fine £1000-1200

Alexander Binney Webster gained the M.D. Edinburgh in 1824. Appointed an Assistant Surgeon on 9 February 1825 and Officiating Assistant Surgeon on 27 May 1825, he served in the siege and storm of Bhurtpoor 1826 with the Field Hospital. He retired from the service in 1836 and died in Edinburgh on 8 January 1879.
