Tinkler, 26 Charing Cross, an advertising note for the Grocers run by G. Tinkler, promisng to ‘pay Mr. Abm Nutmeg or Bearer on Demand the Sum if Two Pence, 10 July 1790, serial number 638, signature of G. Tinkler, ink burn, good fine and scarce, and of unusually high quality for such an early date

Several other notes and trade cards survive for Tinkler, who appears to have been a successful purveyor of just about everything, including Tea, Cocoa and all kinds of groceries.
