A seemingly complete photocopied record of all the operational sorties carried out by Wing Commander A. Warburton, D.S.O., D.F.C. in the 1939-45 War, being copies taken from relevant O.R.Bs for the period September 1940 to October 1943, together with copies of the recommendations for his numerous tally of decorations - one of the great names to emerge from the ranks of the R.A.F., particularly for his work operating out of Malta, he won a Bar to his D.S.O. and 2 Bars to his D.F.C., in addition to the American D.F.C., the whole bound in light blue buckram with gilt titles; together with a copies of Tony Spooner’s biography, Warburton’s War, and Ian Hay’s history, Malta Epic, good condition throughout (Lot) £30-50
