Royal Canadian Air Force pilot’s flying log book appertaining to Flight Sergeant R. J. Roper, Royal Canadian Air Force, covering the period January 1944 to January 1948, cloth spine detached, otherwise in good condition £60-80
Roper, who commenced pilot training at Pendleton, Ontario in January 1944, was posted to No. 100 Squadron in May 1945, in which unit he flew non-operationally as 2nd Pilot in Lancasters. Seconded to B.O.A.C. in a similar capacity in September 1946, his final appointments were in No. 77 Squadron in 1947 and No. 62 Squadron in 1948 - both of them Dakota units.
