William Edward Richardson, who was a native of Montreal, died on 14 October 1941, while serving as an Engine Room Artificer 4th Class aboard H.M.C.S. Brandon. He was 21 years of age and is buried in the Reykjavik (Fossvogur) Cemetery, Iceland.
