Edgar Arthur Le Blanq was born at St Saviour’s, Jersey and enlisted at Worthing. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 17 October 1916 whilst serving with the 12th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment and his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
