John Hudson was born at Grenstead, Colchester and enlisted at Colchester, Essex. He died of wounds in France and Flanders on 9 July 1915 whilst serving with the 1st Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment and is buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
