Sidney Arthur Merritt was born and lived at Harlesden, Middlesex and enlisted in London. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 25 September 1915 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment and his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. Sold with copy m.i.c. which states ‘correct name Merritt, no action unless medals are returned for amendment.’
