Private Charles Donald Woods, 5th Battalion Suffolk Regiment, died as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese on 27 July 1943, aged 23 years. He was buried in Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, Thailand. He was the son of Harry and Alice Woods of Eye, Suffolk. Sold with named condolence slip.
