Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (Claude Randall Darwell) two bolts soldered on to reverse, good very fine £40-60

2nd Lieutenant Claude Randall Darwell, “D” Company, 6th Battalion Border Regiment, was killed in action at Sulva, Gallipoli, on 10 August 1915, aged 21 years. He was buried in Green Hill Cemetery, Turkey. He was the son of George and Marion Bogue Darwell of Bongate Hall, Appleby, Westmorland.
