2nd Lieutenant Ashley Gordon Scott Leggatt, “C” Battery, 47th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, was killed in action on 16 September 1916, aged 31 years. The son of Ashley Leggatt M.D. and husband of Ada Leggatt of 30 Manchester Street, Manchester Square, London; he was buried in the Thistle Dump Cemetery, High Wood, Longueval, Somme, France.
