2nd Lieutenant Harry Joseph Lawrence, 4th attached 10th Battalion Essex Regiment, was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 26 April 1918, aged 20 years. The son of Joseph Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Lawrence of 31 Clarence Terrace, York Road, King’s Cross, London; he was buried in the Hangard Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France.

William Whitehead was born and lived in Oldham, Lancashire and enlisted at Woolwich, Kent, serving initially with the A.S.C. Serving with the 4th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 17 September 1918, aged 30 years. The husband of Anne Ellen Whitehead of 17 Commercial Street, St. Werneth, Oldham.

Walter Hubert Hayward was born in Wimbourne, Dorset, and living in Southampton, Hampshire, enlisted at Holloway, Middlesex. Serving with the 9th Battalion Rifle Brigade, he was killed in action, France/Flanders on 11 July 1915, aged 20 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of Horace and Kate Hayward of Cliff Cottage, Albion Place, Southampton.
