Ernest William Green was born in Aston, Birmingham and enlisted at Birmingham. Serving in the 1st Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 4 July 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.

John Hall was borna and lived in Oldham and enlisted at Ashton-under-Lyne. Serving with the 14th Battalion Welsh Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 8 October 1918, aged 18 years. He was buried in the Bois-des-Angles British Cemetery, Crevecoeur-sur-l’Escaut.

Thomas Foster was born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and enlisted at Oldham, Lancashire. Initially serving in the R.F.A. and then with the 1st Battalion King’s Shropshire Light Infantry, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 28 December 1915, aged 24 years. He was buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery. He was the husband of Eva J. Jackson (formerly Foster) of 246 West Street, Oldham.
