Private George Alfred Chambers, “C” Squadron, Surrey Yeomanry, entered the Egypt theatre of war on 3 April 1915. He was commissioned into the Somerset Light Infantry on 29 February 1917. Serving with the 1st attached 6th Battalion Somerset Light Infantry, he was killed in action, 22 August 1917, aged 24 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. He was the son of Walter James Chambers of 28 Thurleigh Road, Wandsworth Common, London. Sold with copied m.i.c.

Private Stanley Alfred Turner Valentine, “C” Squadron, Surrey Yeomanry, entered the Egypt theatre of war on 3 April 1915. He was commissioned into the Royal Sussex Regiment on 27 March 1918. Sold with copied m.i.c.
